(ZOOM) Examination Feedback Seminar November 2023 Hong Kong CPD Course (HK)
This 2-hour workshop(via Zoom) will cover the collective feedback from examiners who have marked the Hong Kong RAD examinations between October and November in 2023. Participants will be required to switch on the camera during the seminar, excluding the break time. Recording in any format is prohibited. Each participant must hold his/her own ticker. one ticket grants one entry per person. Should you have teaching members from the same school who wish to join together in the same premises, please alert the RAD Hong Kong office (hello@radhk.org) in advance.
The Royal Academy of Dance reserves the right to decline entry to this seminar room (via Zoom) in case of any disputes.

Ms Lauren Matthews
RAD Examiner
Lauren graduated from the Royal Academy of Dance with the BA (Hons) Ballet Education degree where she achieved first class honours in her teaching and choreography modules. She also graduated with the Licentiate Award and RAD Advance 2 Classical Ballet. Lauren is a qualified Tap and Modern Dance teaching member of the ISTD.
Lauren is a passionate dance educator, working across many different sectors. She is an RAD Examiner. She has particular interest in learning and teaching methodologies and how these can influence high achievement and success. Lauren is an Approved Tutor for the RAD’s Undergraduate Programmes such as the Licentiate Award, Diploma in Dance Teaching Studies, and the Certificate in Ballet Teaching Studies where she teaches and assesses student-teachers in pedagogy with a focus on the RAD Graded and Vocational Graded exam content.
Lauren has taught dance to children and young people in a range of settings, including the RAD’s community programme Step into Dance, where she successfully led groups of SEND students to audition and perform at Sadler’s Wells for several years. Much of Lauren’s work focusses on ballet, and she has tutored at several private sector dance schools across London and Hampshire. In addition, Lauren has taught at several state and independent schools and, also at the Urdang Academy. Lauren is the Founder and Principal of a successful children’s dance school in South West London which she launched in 2016 and has recently become a Mentor for RAD degree student-teachers.
